Pool Rules

These bathing regulations apply to all areas of Erlebnisbad Wallbach (indoor pool, whirlpool, children’s pool, water slide, outdoor pool, sunbathing lawn, wellness area, bistro).

1. An admission fee must be paid for the use of the facilities for each guest. The amount of the admission fee is displayed at the entrance to the pool.
2. The use of the facilities may be restricted in whole or in part for technical, safety-related, weather-related or organisational reasons. Use may also be limited to a specific user group. There is no entitlement to a refund of the admission fee already paid.
3. The ticket office closes 1 hour before the facility closes, and bathing is permitted until 15 minutes before closing time. Opening hours of the bistro are determined by the staff on site.
4. Admission to the facilities may not be granted to:

• • persons with open wounds or contagious diseases,
  • persons who, under the influence of intoxicating substances, endanger themselves or other guests,
  • persons bringing animals with them (except blind persons with guide dogs).

The pool staff supervise bathing operations and are authorised, at any time and in accordance with local conditions, to establish and apply additional rules for the use of the facilities. These instructions must be followed in full. Please note that such orders are always issued in the interest of the safety and well-being of our guests as well as the orderly operation of the pool.

Use of all facilities is at the user’s own risk. Neither the operators, nor the owners, nor the host municipality shall be liable for:

1. damage arising from the use of swimming and diving facilities, playground equipment or other pool installations,
2. damage caused by third parties (theft, property damage, injuries during ball games, etc.),
3. the loss of items, money or other valuables.

This exclusion of liability shall not apply if intent or gross negligence on the part of the operator or its staff can be proven in such cases.

The following activities are permitted only with the express approval of the operator:

• events of any kind (including political actions and the collection of signatures),
• conducting supervised group training sessions (two or more persons constitute a group),
• conducting courses and lessons (with or without commercial intent),
• distributing and selling goods and products,
• distributing brochures and other printed materials.

A reasoned request must be submitted in writing and in good time. There is no entitlement to the granting of authorisation. Obtaining any additional permits required (e.g. police, municipal chancellery) is the responsibility of the organiser.

The use of image and sound recording devices is generally not permitted. In exceptional cases, the pool staff may grant permission for private purposes.

• Guests must change in the changing rooms designated for their sex and age.
• Children requiring supervision shall use the adult changing rooms together with their accompanying persons.

1. In the interest of general hygiene, all guests are required to wash thoroughly in the showers provided before using the wet areas (including outdoor pools and wellness). Soap and shower products may only be used in the enclosed shower rooms.
2. Behaviour and swimwear must not offend public decency. Entry into the wet areas and the swimming hall is permitted only barefoot or wearing bathing shoes and in proper swimwear (including burkini). The sauna rules posted on site apply to the sauna area.
3. Guests must neither disturb nor endanger other bathers.
4. Ball games are allowed only in the areas designated for this purpose.
5. The playing of electronic entertainment devices or musical instruments must be stopped immediately in the event of complaints or upon instruction by the staff.
6. The following are not permitted:

• • eating, drinking and chewing gum in all wet areas,
  • allowing small children to bathe without swim trunks or swim nappies,
  • pushing persons into one of the swimming pools,
  • jumping into the pools from the long sides,
  • using flotation aids in the swimmers’ area and the outdoor whirlpool,
  • using cameras in the wet areas.

1. For safety reasons, non-swimmers are not permitted to enter the swimmers’ areas. The supervising staff may grant exceptions for children accompanied by an adult supervisor who assumes full responsibility for the child.
2. The use of air mattresses, inflatable boats and similar products is not permitted in the indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Diving with breathing apparatus is permitted only with the approval of the pool staff.
3. Children under the age of twelve may enter the facilities only when accompanied by an adult supervisor who assumes full responsibility for the child.
4. Children over the age of twelve may enter the facilities unaccompanied if they have passed the water safety course (please bring proof) and written permission has been given by the legal guardian.
5. Groups and school classes are admitted only when accompanied by an adult and require one accompanying person for every 10 participants. At least one accompanying person must hold a valid Basis Pool certificate (or equivalent).
6. Access to the sauna area is permitted to adults only.
7. In all other respects, the bathing rules of the Swiss Lifesaving Society (SLRG) apply

These regulations enter into force in January 2026. They replace the existing house rules of Erlebnisbad Wallbach, Lenk.

1. Anyone who violates individual provisions of these regulations or the instructions of the pool staff may be removed from the pool facility, banned from using it, or fined. Any damage caused must be compensated in full. The individual measures may be combined. The pool staff are responsible for removal from the premises, while the management is responsible for imposing a ban on entry. The determination of fines lies with the authorities.
2. In order to enforce these provisions and the operational instructions, the staff may call upon the assistance of the police. In the event of a violation of these bathing regulations or wilful contamination of the facilities, the pool staff or the management may, irrespective of the damage caused, charge the responsible person an appropriate administrative fee in addition to compensation for the damage.
3. If a partial or comprehensive ban on entry is imposed, any season ticket or annual pass that exists or has been used shall be blocked immediately. There is no entitlement to a refund for the remaining unused subscription period.

Clothing and towels are kept for 6 months and are then disposed of. Valuables are handed over to the lost property office of the Municipality of Lenk after the retention period has expired. Once you have contacted us and we have found the item of clothing or object, we kindly ask you to collect it within one month. Lost property can also be sent by post for a flat fee of CHF 10.00.
